The Portland-based academic institution is a unique educational outlet that was founded by former Jordan Brand designer\u00a0<strong>D&#8217;Wayne Edwards<\/strong> to teach students the entire footwear design process and provide the industry with a farm system for the next generation. Now for the first time, <a href=\"\/tag\/pensole\/\" target=\"_blank\">PENSOLE<\/a> is taking their talents out east to conduct a four-week intensive master class to find the world&#8217;s best sneaker designer. 21 hand-picked hopefuls from around the world will compete for the title and the chance to have his or her design sold at retail.<\/p>\n<p>The championships will take place in NYC at Parsons, one of the most prestigious design schools on the planet, from May 27th to June 20th.
