Since signing with the Swoosh and getting his own signature line, Kobe has kept the public on their toes by bringing out a new silo just about every year during the holiday season. As the Kobe 9 prepares for its retail release this weekend, we take a look back at the eight debuts before it.<\/p>\n<h2>Nike Zoom Kobe I<\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/thRAnVbeNOY\" height=\"728\" width=\"970\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Date:<\/strong> December 25, 2005<br \/>\n<strong>Colorway:<\/strong> Black\/Yellow-White<\/p>\n<p>Facing off against friend turned foe Shaquille O&#8217;Neal, the Diesel and his new team got the best of Kobe in his new shoes. Nevertheless, Kobe still dropped 37 points, grabbed eight boards and handed out six dimes in the debut of the Nike Zoom Kobe I.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h2>Nike Zoom Kobe II<\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/46fAnpyLHHQ\" height=\"546\" width=\"970\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Date:<\/strong> December 25, 2006<br \/>\n<strong>Colorway:<\/strong> Black\/Yellow-White<\/p>\n<p>Back in South Beach, Kobe Bryant&#8217;s second signature shoe from Nike also saw its hardwood debut against the Heat. Much like the previous year, the debut came on Christmas in a Black\/Yellow colorway.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h2>Nike Zoom Kobe III<\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Xa336cYQ_4g\" height=\"728\" width=\"970\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Date:<\/strong> December 20, 2007<br \/>\n<strong>Colorway:<\/strong> Black\/White<\/p>\n<p>Kobe opened his Christmas gifts early in 2007 by debuting the Nike Zoom Kobe III five days before the standard holiday surprise. Worn in a road game against LeBron James in Cleveland, KB24 kept it subtle with a Black\/White colorway.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h2>Nike Zoom Kobe IV<\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/J5-Q0daj2sg\" height=\"546\" width=\"970\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Date:<\/strong> December 19, 2008<br \/>\n<strong>Colorway:<\/strong> Black\/Gold-Purple<\/p>\n<p>After hooping in hybrid Hyperdunks, Kobe came correct with his first pair of low tops in a mid-December game against the Miami Heat. This loud, holiday installment would re-pave the way for future Zoom Kobe launches. It just might be. On Christmas Day 2010, Kobe stole the show in the &#8220;Grinch&#8221; Zoom Kobe VIs. Much like the previous years, Kobe debuted his new signature silo in a holiday colorway. The &#8220;Cheetah&#8221; Kobe VIIs made the most of the model&#8217;s modular cushioning in bright and bold fashion.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h2>Nike Kobe 8<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Date:<\/strong> December 21, 2012<br \/>\n<strong>Colorway:<\/strong> Black\/Black Sample<\/p>\n<p>Rather than wait for Christmas, Kobe got the itch to debut the Nike Kobe 8 early by breaking them out in a game against Cleveland.
