Vans California draws inspiration from African mudcloth for its upcoming production, the Vans CA “Geo Tribe” Pack. Featuring two of the brand’s most iconic silhouettes, the “Geo Tribe” duo is composed of stonewashed canvas uppers with overall patterns. The specific print was born in Mali’s centuries-old Bamana culture, and is detailed with a faint purple hue. Black pigskin suede splits the Vans Chukka Boot in half on the ankle collar and eyelets, which are made of burnished metal, while the Vans Authentic uses the print all the way down to its inner liner. Light brown leather brand tags and white soles add convention to both pairs, which should be on their way in the coming season.
