I never really had any fancy Nikes, Reeboks, Jordans, etc. like many other kids, but growing up I wore L.A. Gears; the shoes that light up every time you would step. Fast forward to the year 1999-2000, I would always buy random Nikes that I thought were dope to me. I didn’t care about the specific model, if they look tight to me, I would want them. It wasn’t until 2003, in my freshman year in high school, that my classmate was wearing Nike Dunks. The first time I saw them, I thought they were the dopest looking sneakers I had ever seen before!

They looked so simple yet so clean, with how they used a three-color combo. My classmate told me that they were $65, and I could buy them at my local mall. After that day, I saved enough lunch money and whatever money I made to get the same shoes my classmate had. Two weeks later, I finally got the same colorway my classmate had on. That was 10 years ago. Fast forward 10 years later, I still have those same shoes with original everything. The name “dunksrnice” is pretty self explanatory. A lot of Nike Dunks in their earlier years were very simple, but nice, hence the nickname. I personally don’t have a theme, nor do I consider certain shoes or my collection “Heat”. I simply buy what I like.”

“Besides having 1985 Metallic Blue/White & Metallic Red/White I’s and a few other older gems in my collection, I believe my 1985 Metallic Green and White I’s are probably the most rare pair in my sneaker collection. For me, when talking about any original Air Jordan I’s, besides the samples, prototypes, AJKO (If those are put into category) etc., the metallic colorway series comes to mind. Next to Metallic Purple, Metallic Blue Lows, and the infamous Black and Gold I’s from 1985, in my opinion, these are easily one of the hardest and most rare colorways from the Air Jordan I metallic series. It took me many years to acquire this pair, but I was very fortuane to find them in my size this year. It’s not everyday you see this colorway from 1985.” “Nike Dunks were the sneaker that started it all for me, because I always liked how simple the sneaker looked with a simplistic colorways using two or three color schemes. Simplicity works.” “These are without a doubt my personal favorite, and my holy grails. Whether they’re from 1988, 1994, 2001, 2008 or 2011, everything about this shoe is amazing. From the first of many to have the infamous elephant print, air unit bubble, tumbled leather and a Jumpman Jordan logo on the tongue, to the overall sleekness of the colorway when it first released. Not to mention, how they feel and fit when wearing them. Tinker was a genius. No matter how many times they retro this model colorway, they will always be my favorite.” “These 1984 White & Gray Sky Forces are my oldest pair in my collection. I simply love how simple they look, and the overall quality of the leather. Simply amazing quality.”Profile:
