Beyond his hoop preferences, Marke also builds his extravagant collection with bigger meaning, paying homage to his history and honoring his loved ones. It was like owning a pair made you feel like the GOAT himself. My Mother was always into keeping me fresh for school, so any <strong>Air Jordan<\/strong> that I wanted, I was blessed with. I remember it like it was yesterday: I wanted the &#8220;Bred&#8221; Air Jordan 11s for Christmas back in 2001. A couple of days before Christmas, my Mom put them on the floor next my bed while I was sleeping, and when i woke up&#8230; I became addicted to kicks. Now, not only do I lace myself up, I keep <strong>my son Robert<\/strong>, aka RG3, laced up. I have about <strong>250<\/strong> pairs myself, and my son has around <strong>40-50<\/strong>, consisting of basically basketball kicks from <em>Jordans<\/em>, to <em>LeBrons<\/em>, <em>KDs<\/em>, <em>Foams<\/em> and <em>Kobes<\/em>.&#8221;<br \/>\n<!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Most Rare Pair: <\/strong>Nike Hyperdunk 2011 Supreme &#8220;Galaxy&#8221; Blake Griffin PE (2011)<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cWhen I first saw these <strong>Blake Griffin &#8220;Galaxy&#8221; Samples<\/strong> hit the web, I was in love, but figured it would be tough to get them. Then I saw that they changed the whole colorway on them and only released them in limited quantities overseas, and I was annoyed. In my opinion, I think that the sample color is much more dope than the released pair. One day a good friend hit me up and said he had the sample pair for sale, and no questions ask I went to buy them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Oldest Pair: <\/strong>Air Jordan 4 White\/Cement (1999)<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cThis was tough, because these are my favorite shoes in my collection, but they are also my oldest. When i was younger and not really collecting, I remember having these. It&#8217;s just such a classic shoe. You can match and wear basically anything with these. My favorite in the collection for sure.\u201d<br \/>\n<!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Personal Favorite: <\/strong>Nike KD IV &#8220;Aunt Pearl&#8221; (2011)<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cLike I said, the <strong>&#8220;White Cement&#8221; Air Jordan 4s<\/strong> are my favorite, but the <strong>Nike KD IV &#8220;Aunt Pearl&#8221;<\/strong> is a shoe that just means more to me than just a sneaker. In 2003, my Mother passed away from Breast Cancer. I was very close with my Mom and it hit me really hard. When I saw these KD 4 Aunt Pearls, it was the first Breast Cancer shoe that I had seen that I loved, and to know that I can have a sneaker that represents the fight against breast cancer is such a good feeling. Ever since then, I&#8217;ve bought all of the <strong>breast cancer\/pink<\/strong> sneakers I could find.\u201d<br \/>\n<!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Collection Starter: <\/strong>Air Jordan 4 &#8220;Mars&#8221; (2006)<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cI&#8217;m going to count it as when I personally started buying sneakers with my own money. I was working for the family company during summer vacation during school, and my birthday was coming up in a couple days. I decided that I wanted to buy myself a little something, and it was the <strong>&#8220;Mars Blackmon&#8221; Air Jordan 4s<\/strong>. I believe at that time I spent $115. They are beat to death from balling in them, but it&#8217;s one pair that I will keep forever.\u201d<br \/>\n<!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Most Frequent Wear:<\/strong>Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low (2012)<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cI don&#8217;t own too many Nike SBs. Honestly, I think I only have three pairs total. This shoe though, is just up my alley. I have to say that the SB model is one of the most comfortable shoe ever, in my opinion. The <strong>Supreme SB<\/strong> is just beautiful. Red kicks are my favorite kicks, especially with black. I&#8217;m Albanian, and those are our nations colors, and I am proud of my nationality.
