As Christmas approaches, so do the plethora of kicks that often accompany the winter holiday. For the Snkrs Day team, shoes are always on our Christmas wishlist, but only a select few make the cut every. Checking out what’s to come, we’ve chosen some of the best, in our opinion, that the past week had to offer in this week’s installment of Staff Picks<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Allison Halfhill<\/h2>\n

adidas adiZero adios Primeknit Boost
\n\u201cThese look super clean. \u00a0Do they look suspiciously similar to another popular brand’s technology we saw hit the market over a year ago, maaaaybe, but the execution is on point and I would definitely wear these.\u201d
\n<\/p>\n

George Kiel<\/h2>\n

adidas Crazy 8 \u201cNightmare”
\n\u201cI loved all of the “Nightmare” edition shoes adidas created last season, but this might be my favorite one so far. The speckled sole is money.\u201d
\n<\/p>\n

Nike Air Max Lunar90 \u201cInfrared\u201d
\n\u201cSo many incredible shoes drop this weekend (What the Kobe 8, St Alfred New Balance, “Sonic Wave” Gloves, and the Concepts Nike SB Dunk), but I had to go with the Air Max Lunar 90 “Infrared” because the Infrared AM90 is one of my favorite shoes of all-time. \u00a0I have several iterations of the shoe, and this is one of the better ones. \u00a0I also love how they come stocked with black laces too – it’s a nice touch.\u201d

\n\u201cThe theme of the Nike Kobe 8 Prelude is “Reflection,” and I currently find myself reflecting on the fact that I have yet to purchase a pair of Kobe 8s. I definitely need to rectify that, and this Prelude pair is stunning.\u201d

\n“Keeping is consistent with the Kobe theme this week, I’m going with the Prelude Vs. I’ve always been a low-top KB fanatic, and in my humble opinion the V has the best color blocking of them all, especially when the midfoot separating panel is a different color. This upcoming retro doesn’t disappoint with a slew of hues, and I especially like the outsole. I just hope bots don’t eat these up on January 4th.”

\n\u201cThanks to the good folks at Nike Basketball, I was fortunate enough to get a look at these in person this week at the official launch. As always, I was extremely impressed with the direction the’ve choose to take with the Kobe line. I can’t wait to get these on the court.\u201d

Roundel by London Underground x Nike Air Max 90 “Jacquard”
\n\u201cI was fascinated with double decker buses when I was a kid, and to my mother’s disdain, my dream job was to become a bus driver. \u00a0When I first saw the abstract design of the\u00a0Roundel by London Underground x Nike Air Max Collection, something about it brought back a sense of familiarity. \u00a0Although it’s\u00a0inspired by the\u00a0London transportation system\u2019s seat upholstery\u00a0from the 1980s, the\u00a0red, brown, black and tan colors\u00a0resemble the classic colors of the Kowloon Motor Buses in 1990s Hong Kong.\u201d
