Carrying on tradition while setting itself apart from those to come before it, the Air Jordan 5 “Oreo” has etched itself into Jordan Brand history with its early morning Black Friday release. Given the fact that we can anticipate many day-after-Thanksgiving releases to come, there’s room for a little speculation and fantasy. Taking the idea and extrapolating it over a number of Jordan signature silhouettes, toss a few ideas of ours yours and Jordan Brand’s way with what we’d like to see as future Black Friday releases.

Now that new colorways are not only accepted, but surprisingly highly-coveted, why not try some new things on one of the most beloved Jordan silhouettes? Borrowing the gem of a colorway that the Jordan 5 was blessed with, we tried that outfit on a Jordan 3, and if we say so ourselves, it’s definitely release-worthy. Almost an “Oregon” Air Jordan 4 but ready for general release, this AJ 4 colorway would certainly be the envy of all those who chose to pass it up. We could definitely see this Black/Green Chrome colorway selling well on a future Black Friday.

2014 is slated to bring the Air Jordan 6 back, right? It’d be a good opportunity to try some new things with the silhouette. With the “Sport Blue” colorway being whispered in the rumor mill, the silhouette could easily be released alongside a blacked-out variation. Say hello to the “Black & Blue.” The lack of on-court appearances may have affected the popularity of the Air Jordan 10, resulting in a limited number of black-based options. Nevertheless, there have been ample opportunities to make up for lost time. We’ve suggested a “Black Chicago” 10 that we’re still waiting on Jordan Brand to act upon, so just in case they didn’t get that memo, here’s the “Black Steel.” Every sneakerhead with a pair of Jordan 11s has tried it – sneaking into an otherwise formal event with a pair of the patent-leathered signature. The color contrast of the “Concords” might blow your cover, getting your hands on some un-discolored “Columbias” is nigh-impossible, and the red bottoms of the “Playoffs” aren’t easily mistaken for Louboutins. Earth to Jordan Brand. Drop a smoke-soled Jordan 11, and groomsmen everywhere shall rejoice. Since originally debuting in 1997, the Air Jordan 12 hasn’t been seen in a true “Bred,” especially given the fact that a good number of sneakerheads don’t consider the “Flu Game” 12s as a valid re-release. In an effort to maintain the colorway’s grail status, we’ve mocked up another Black/Red combination 12 to keep sneaker collectors at bay.

Carrying on tradition while setting itself apart from those to come before it, the Air Jordan 5 “Oreo” has etched itself…

[3,1225574
1225452,1225537

2":"type-post

Air Jordan 3 “Oreo”
