Following a debut in February 2009, the adidas SLVR<\/strong> line has been suspended. Reported today by Sportswear International<\/a>, this high-end fashion sector of the adidas brand saw a range of silos release over the past few years, drawing inspiration from the likes of basketball shoes, dress shoes and more, engineered with a casual aesthetic. A spokesperson from adidas released the following statement:<\/p>\n \u201cFrom spring 2014, adidas will introduce a new approach to sophisticated sportswear within the Sport Style sub-brand, which will exclusively be available for friends and partners of the adidas family.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n While we\u2019re excited to see the continued work of adidas in the high-end fashion space with Jeremy Scott, Raf Simons and Rick Owens, we still would’ve loved to see the\u00a0SLVR Primeknits\u00a0hit the States.
