Since seeing LeBron play in high school, he has acquired an array of LBJs, including an unreleased sample. King James’ models aren’t his only avenue, as he also rocks with Air Maxes, New Balance and retro basketball sneakers.<\/p>\n

“Sneakers have always been a part of my life. I have two older brothers that are into sneakers. Whenever my Mother brought them sneakers, she had to buy me sneakers as well. It’s pretty hard for me to actually say when I became a collector. The first pair of kicks I bought with my own money was the Nike Zoom LeBron 20-5-5<\/strong>. I have been a big LeBron fan since I saw him play against my brother in high school in Queens, NY. Since then, he’s been my favorite player. So whatever LeBrons that came out, I had to get them. My collection contains a lot of different shoes. LeBrons, Kobes, KDs, Air Max, New Balance, retro Nike Basketball, and of course, Jordans. I really don’t know how many pairs of sneakers I have, to be honest. I may have at least 200 in my house, and probably close to 100 in storage.”<\/p>\n

Most Rare Pair:<\/strong> Nike Air Max LeBron 7 “Michael Jordan” Sample (2009)<\/h3>\n

“I remember pictures going up on every sneaker blog about these shoes. DJ Clark Kent<\/strong> was showing off his pair and these just took my breath away. This shoe represents my two favorite players. The way they combine the Air Jordan 11 “Playoffs”<\/strong> with the Nike Lebron 7<\/strong> is insane. At the time, there weren’t any pairs floating around at all. So I always told myself that if I ever see this shoe in my size, I have to have it. One day, I was searching eBay and the homie at theheatcheck<\/em> had them in my size. I reached out and the rest is history.”<\/p>\n

Oldest Pair:<\/strong> Air Jordan 6 “Infrared” (2000)<\/h3>\n

“I remember having these when I was younger, I think I was wearing a size 4.5 at the time. These were an amazing shoe. The “Infrared”<\/strong> just pops crazy on the black and with the clear sole. The material and the infrared is a lot different on the 2010 pair. You can’t forget that Nike Air<\/strong> on the back is definitely a big addition to the shoe.”<\/p>\n

Collection Starter:<\/strong> Nike Zoom Lebron 20-5-5 (2005)<\/h3>\n

“This shoe was so dope. Nike<\/strong> made a shoe named after LeBron’s rookie year stats that earned him the Rookie of the Year<\/strong>. The two straps made a very different look at the time for a basketball sneaker.”<\/p>\n

Most Frequent Wear:<\/strong> Air Jordan 1 “Royal” (2001)<\/h3>\n

“I can wear these everyday, all day. They feel like slippers. They go with jeans, sweats, and shorts. You don’t really have to worry about Jordan 1<\/strong>‘s separating. Jordan 1’s look better creased and worn anyways, it gives them that old school look.”<\/p>\n

Personal Favorite:<\/strong> Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement” (2001)<\/h3>\n

“My all time favorite. I could buy 50 pairs of these and I won’t get tired of them. These just look so amazing on-foot, and they’re one of the most comfortable Jordans. From the elephant print, to the big Air Jordan<\/strong> logo on the tongue; and you can’t forget the Nike Air<\/strong> on the back.”<\/p>\n
