Tomorrow, Chris Paul will see the release of his seventh signature silo from Jordan Brand. Designed for his quick and unpredictable play, the Jordan CP3.VII caters to its endorser’s game in build and technology. What makes the CP3.VII the shoe for Chris Paul? Read on to find out in this installment of Sneaker Anatomy.

Each installment of the Jordan CP3.VII will feature either a leather or synthetic upper. What will not differ is the perforations. Designed for ventilation, the circular perforations offer function and flair by airing out the upper and mirroring the airflow of a wind tunnel.

Chris Paul’s logo lends itself to the tongue, offering the most visible nod to the signature athlete. The logo also appears in minimal form on the plastic portion of the heel tab.

Dynamic Flywire support is brought back on the Jordan CP3.VII. The strong thread doubles as eyelets for the laces and is also integrated into the shoe’s fit system for snug lockdown.

Also catering to lockdown is an inner bootie system. The Jordan CP3.VII sees the lining integrated with the tongue. In addition, the CP3.VII also features a heel stirrup to aid lockdown and fit.

The two-tone toe box serves as one of the most noticeable features of the Jordan CP3.VII. Textured leather appears on this particular colorway, hosting a glossy finish.

Podulon cushioning has been featured in much of the CP3 line. The Jordan CP3.VII sees the move from Podulon to Podulite technology in conjunction with Zoom Air.

Herringbone traction pads are in full force on the Jordan CP3.VII. The outsole pattern caters to quick cuts and change in direction, with traction pads differing based on placement.

The Jordan CP3.VII release on October 9th at select Jordan Brand accounts, including the Snkrs Day Shop in Austin, TX, for $125.

Tomorrow, Chris Paul will see the release of his seventh signature silo from Jordan Brand.
