If you go around dropping rhymes like “Yeezys all on your sofa…These the Red Octobers,” certain assumptions tend to become expectations. With no Nike Air Yeezy 2 “Red October” release in sight and all-red kicks being all the rage of late, any rose-colored sneaker will do. To coincide with the 10th month of the year, we’ve mocked up 10 Nike silhouettes that we’d like to see sporting a red suit.

2014 has been chosen as the year to bring back the Jordan 6. All variations of red on this model have done well, looking back at the Infrared, Carmine and Maroon colorways, for example. Time to see how an all-red would do, and we couldn’t resist mocking up a plush Doernbecher-inspired rendition. The Nike Roshe Run has had quite a successful run since its introduction. The minimal amount of panels are definitely a strength of the sneaker, and in this shoe’s case, a monochromatic look is just right. The month of October is, fittingly, the month that marks the return of the Jordan 10 with an OG colorway kicking things off. Nothing too crazy has been done with this silhouette, outside of the upcoming Doernbecher design, so it’s about time the 10s step outside of the color palette box.

It was stated that the Air Jordan XX8 would release in the most colorways of any signature in the Air Jordan line. Well, we’re still waiting for an all-red colorway. Maybe the XX8 SE will come through in the clutch.

Air Jordan 6
