Over the years, there have been plenty of noteworthy NB collaborations with designers and brands from all over the world. New Balance\u2019s unmatched reputation for quality and iconic silhouettes provide limitless opportunities for creative inspiration. We narrow our favorites down to 25 in our look back at the Best New Balance collaborations so far. Check out the list below, and then give us your thoughts in the comment section.<\/p>\n

25. Ronnie Fieg x New Balance 999 \u201cSteel Blue\u201d<\/h2>\n

Jumpstarting our list is Ronnie Fieg\u2019s rendition of the New Balance 999. Inspired by the New Balance 1300CL, this sneaker offered a combination of premium nubuck and pigskin suede. Like with most Ronnie Fieg collabs, fans all around the country coveted this New Balance 999, but not many were able to score a pair. Did you?<\/p>\n

24. J.Crew x New Balance 998 \u201cPebble Blue\u201d<\/h2>\n

J.Crew has always been known for having a superb array of products from other brands, and their collabs with New Balance are no different. Dubbed \u201cPebble Blue,\u201d this 998 silhouette sports beige and brown suede paneling, beige mesh, and hits of Pebble Blue at the heel and midsole.<\/p>\n

23. Invincible x New Balance 1400 \u201cBrogue\u201d<\/h2>\n

Decorative perforations serve as the eye-grabbing element of the Invincible x New Balance 1400 \u201cBrogue.\u201d Constructed as a take-down of the traditional brogue shoe, the 1400 incorporates an off-white sole along with a rich navy suede and tonal rope laces. Off-white also colors the inner lining to keep the aesthetic clean and classy.

22. Sneaker Freaker x New Balance 998 \u201cTassie Devil\u201d<\/h2>\n

In celebration of their 10-year anniversary, Australia-based Sneaker Freaker<\/strong> left their bite mark on a pair of New Balance 998s. Inspired by the Tasmanian Devil, the Sneaker Freaker x New Balance 998 \u201cTassie Devil\u201d draped numerous hues of purple along the upper, and set atop a bone-colored, black-speckled midsole. Sinking their teeth in further, triangular fangs are seen on the forefoot to a create one of the best New Balances to come out of \u201cDown Under.\u201d Also worth noting, Sneaker Freaker gave a healthy donation to the campaign to help save the Tasmanian Devil from extinction with this launch.<\/p>\n

21. hanon x New Balance 1500 \u201cChosen Few\u201d<\/h2>\n

The hanon x New Balance 1500 \u201cChosen Few\u201d was designed as a tribute to the New Balance Flimby Factory located in Cumbria, just north of England. Constructed with a mix of premium navy and gray suede, the \u201cChosen Few\u201d 1500 offered a subtle color scheme that instantly became a classic.

20. Stussy x UNDFTD x Hectic x New Balance MT580 \u201cSMU\u201d<\/h2>\n

A joint effort between Undefeated, Stussy, MadHectic and New Balance, the MT580 \u201cSMU\u201d was a quick hit with sneaker fans. Designed with importance placed on simplicity, this collab sports an upper that is covered with a tonal black nubuck along with a creamy off-white midsole. The SMU MT580’s subtle gum outsole and purple patterned satin inner lining helped set this shoe apart.

19. Provider x New Balance 1500<\/h2>\n

Back in 2008, New Balanced teamed up with Aussie Sneaker shop Provider to released a limited edition 1500. Provider draped the 1500 with a beautiful hue of blue and shades of grey that dominate this simple, yet eye-catching sneaker.

18. size? x Staple Design x New Balance 577 \u201cBlack Pigeon\u201d<\/h2>\n

For the third installment of their collaboration with New Balance,\u00a0Staple got a little help from UK retailer size?. The shoe featured a heavy-duty construction with a honeycombed Ripstop Nylon toe-box, and a robust, leather-paneled upper covers the rest of the design. For added comfort, this collab offers a pink felt lining that made this 577 pop.

17. CNCPTS x New Balance 999 \u201cS.E.A.L.\u201d<\/h2>\n

This joint effort between Concepts and New Balance drew inspiration from the OTB Abyss II boot worn by U.S. Navy S.E.A.Ls. The functionality of this shoe matches the exquisite style by using stain-resistant microfiber suede and ballistic mesh in tandem with minimal seams and water and wind resistant treatments. Morse code encryption on the tongue branding and a Concepts patch on the insole add a touch of exclusivity fitting for a shoe carrying the name of such an elite group.<\/p>\n

16. La MJC x Colette x New Balance 1500 \u201c6th Anniversary\u201d<\/h2>\n

La MJC, in conjunction with Colette and New Balance, released a special New Balance 1500 in commemoration of their 6th Anniversary. The La MJC x Colette 1500 features a special carbon-fiber pattern leather upper. This sneaker also sports accents in fuchsia, a color closely associated with La MJC. This is also the only New Balance shoe to ever offer an outsole colored entirely in fuchsia. With only 190 pairs produced worldwide, the LaMJC x Colette x New Balance 1500 is one of the rarest shoes on our list.<\/p>\n

15. Snkrs Day x New Balance 1500<\/h2>\n

Landing at the #15 spot is our Snkrs Day x New Balance. We’re biased, of course, but this honeybuck covered pair received plenty of attention via Sneaker Freaker, and featured a predominantly grey upper with red, charcoal and white accents scattered throughout.<\/p>\n
