Collection Summary

“I started to put together my collection 18 years ago. To me, the best of all time is Michael Jordan. I started with only a couple, because in that time I studied and had no monetary solvency to acquire all that I liked. Gradually I began to taste the evolution of today. Resume of the collection is 303 total, and 85 pairs of Jordan, but also have Air Max, Foamposite, Air Force 1, SB, etc.”

Most Rare Pair: Air Jordan 6 “Reverse Infrared” Sample (2000), Air Jordan 1 “Multicolor Jumpman” Sample (2001)

“Among the rarest of my pairs, are two of my samples. One is the Air Jordan 6 Sample, “Reverse Infrared” that came out in 2000. The other is the Air Jordan 1 White/Midnight Navy unreleased Jumpman Sample where the logo on the back is colored. The Jordan 6 Sample photo is at the Monument to the Mother. This place was chosen because it is the foundation of the family and without it (my mother) support and encouragement, there would have never been each of my sneakers. Jordan 1 Sample photo is from the Angel of Independence in Mexico City. One of the most representative of my country, as the Jordan 1 is to me.”

Oldest Pair: OG Air Jordan 3 “Fire Red” (1988)

“My oldest pair is a Jordan 3 OG. I still retain, even though it is almost waste! I still have in this state and use because I have a great affection and made many sacrifices to get in my hands. The Jordan 3 is the best of all time and is a revolutionary pair.”

Collection Starter: OG Air Jordan 7 “Bordeaux” (1992)

“My first pair was the Jordan VII “Bordeaux” OG. After seeing the performance of Michael Jordan in the All-Star, to have this pair is motivating.”

Personal Favorite: Air Jordan 11 “Concord” (2011)

“Jordan 11s are my favorites.”

Most Frequent Wear: Air Jordan 6 “Carmine” (2008 CDP)

“The pair that I use most frequently are the Jordan 6 “Carmine”. This photo is on “The Bank Shuffle” by Brian Nissen, of the exhibition on Paseo de la Reforma. I found the combination of colors interesting.”

Post a picture of your collection as a whole on Instagram, with the hashtag #communitycollections, for a chance to be featured on Snkrs Day’ next edition of Community Collections.

Community Collections is back with a new face from a new place.
