Los Angeles’ Drew League<\/strong> is widely viewed as the best summer basketball league in the world. Established in 1973 with only six teams, the summer staple has grown so much that it brings NBA superstars to South Central LA just to play. With hometown heroes such as James Harden<\/strong> and The Game, and visitors like Kevin Durant<\/a> making appearances, The Drew is now the summer spot for many of the the game’s best players. The 2013 season wrapped up yesterday with the number eight seed, Hank’s Blazers<\/strong>, pulling off the upset win. The champions weren’t the only surprise this year at the Drew League, as many of the participants rocked rare sneakers all summer.
