Sankofa means that in order to move into the future, you must learn from your past. The city of Shanghai, China has both historical roots and a modern future, both of which are celebrated in the Fragment Design x Nike Air & Lunar Force 1 pack. As a part of the special edition Shanghai footwear collection, the Nike Air Force 1 and Lunar Force 1 combine to represent both the old and the new. These low-top AF1s consist of black and off-white color blocking with mock-croc uppers. To add detailing, a small fragment design branding is present on the heel panel. Both of the pack’s elements are the exact same design, other than the alternative midsoles.

Do you prefer the classic Air Force 1 or the updated Lunar Force 1? Enlighten us of your thoughts in the comment spot below, and watch for the Fragment Design x Nike collection to release this weekend at select Nike accounts in Shanghai.
