Following a slow start to the the season, the LA Dodgers have hit a bit of stride, recording eight wins in their last 10 games. Many credit this mid-season spark to the phenomenal play of their rookie right-fielder, Yasiel Puig. In only a month’s time, Puig is hitting .436, with seven homers, four doubles, and 16 RBIs. In addition, he has also has registered 44 hits in his first career month, which ranks second only to Joe DiMaggio‘s 48 set in 1936.

Sunday afternoon saw the fourth straight matchup of the Dodgers vs. Phillies, and LA managed to close out the series 3-1 with a combination of vetaran leadership and youthful play. Matt Kemp and Yasiel Puig both had outstanding days swinging the bat while rocking some pretty nice Nike Air Huarache 2K4 cleats. While 2K4s have been a favorite of Matt’s for some time now, the classic silhouette is new to Puig as he transitions from the Nike MVP Strike Low.
