What a week it was for sneaker fans. Both Jordan Brand and Nike revealed new packs of sneakers that will be sought after upon release. Vans also released a unique pack of sneakers that were an instant hit. Check out what caught our respective eyes in the latest Snkrs Day Staff Picks. You may be surprised by what was selected. What were your favorite kicks this week?

Air Jordan 5 “Fear” Disney x Vans Vault Sk8-Hi “Donald Duck”

“As a kid, the only cartoon sneakers I rocked were from Strawberry Shortcake back in the first grade. After that, I always looked up to the “big girls” for style guidance. LA Gear and Reebok ruled the playground back then, so the reason I like this shoe has absolutely nothing to do with nostalgia or a deep seeded love for all things Disney. I just think the design is such a dope way to incorporate an iconic pattern with a super saturated blue suede toe box, eyelet strip, and heel strip. Though these are bold, they are still highly wearable, and don’t scream out middle-american mom.” Nike Zoom Flight 98 “The Glove” Gary Payton PE

“How do I pick this week? The Tech Challenge II returned to Wimbledon in surprising fashion in perhaps the best, most unexpected new retro colorway ever. The Springblades shocked the world then won over readers, bringing tech back to the forefront. “Olympic” Grant Hills remain subtle and swaggy at the same time, and the “Animal” Pack Hyperflights see an awesome new take on one of my all-time favorite shoes. At the end of the day though, I’ve got to go with the Gary Payton PEs. “The Gloves” are one of the few shoes that I’ve always wanted and never owned. Excited to see retro stuff from the late 90s pop, and hope Gary’s line gets a lot of retro love soon.” size? x Nike Air Max 180 “Urban Safari” Pack

“I’m a huge fan of the Air Max 180 in general, and I’ve really liked what size? has been doing with their “Urban Safari” collection. The execution on these was flawless. I wouldn’t be mad at a pair of either one. Both pair are kicks that you will look back on five years after copping and still enjoy.” Haro Bikes x Vans Sk8-Hi

“Everyone who knows me, knows that I can’t get enough of the Sk8-Hi. It’s a true classic, and this collab with Haro Bikes features a bright color scheme that is perfect for summer. At $65, I won’t break the bank on these bad boys either. Definite cop.” Nike WMNS Roshe Run “Atomic Pink”

“Atomic Pink mesh on a Roshe Run? Yes, please. Summer sneakers really don’t get any better (or more simple) than this.” Nike Air Max “Camo” Pack

“My staff pick this week is the Nike Air Max “Camo” Collection. I know brands have overplayed the camouflage print in the past several years, but using regional camo print is a nice break from the norm, and very nicely executed. All the shoes are killer, but I’m going to go with the Air Max 1s and Air 180s.”

Nike Air Max 180 Camo Pack – Germany

What a week it was for sneaker fans.
