A known fan of Jay-Z<\/strong>, Durant exited from under the veteran prowess of Rob Pelinka to join up with the emcee. While in the music industry this would usually call for a collaborative cut, being a superstar athlete with a signature sneaker deal, it’s only right that the two come together to produce some special colorways of KD’s signature line to commemorate the landmark signing. The sequel to the first iteration of Durant’s signature sneakers was a solid follow-up, as was the second album from the Jigga man, so this pairing is befitting. Stripped down and strapless, the KD III was a bit of switch-up in the line. Similarly, on the American Gangster<\/em> album, Jay-Z took a slightly different approach by employing \u00a0a conceptual spin. This mashup of the two results in a very cop-worthy KD III. Arguably the best in the signature line, the KD IV deserves the all-gold treatment. Therefore, none other than the Watch the Throne<\/em> artwork is utilized for this colorway.
