Kanye had the following to say in regard to his signature shoe:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe concept behind the Yeezys originally was to take the same type of color palette, the same talent that they use for a Lanvin or Balenciagas&#8211; $1,200 to $2,000 shoe&#8211; and place it to a better sneaker for $300. People reacted to that, they wanted that.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>From there, Kanye discussed his talented team, creative passion and its ability to impact culture.
