Just when we thought Nick Young would finish the season in iD versions of the Kobe 8 System, he shocks us with one of the biggest Kicks On Court surprises of the season so far. Against the Charlotte Bobcats, Young broke out the Nike Air Zoom GP II, Gary Payton’s second signature silhouette. The GP II is one of the less-talked-about models from Payton’s signature line and was a part of Nike’s Alpha Project when it released in 2000. Sure, the Nike Zoom Flight 98 ?The Glove? is on everyone’s mind, but Nick Young’s wear of the GP II reminds you of the other, intriguing shoes in Payton’s line. Props to Young for bringing these back to the court.
