Having high power post moves and spring loaded hops is a winning combination at the four spot. On the sneaker scene, the size and skill set has spawned many marquee models by channeling the force of Charles Barkley or even the attitude of Dennis Rodman. With Shawn Kemp?s kicks back in business, we take a look back at the ten best signature shoes endorsed by power forwards.

Even 19 years later, the Reebok Kamikaze registers as bold and aggressive. Less popular than its sequel but still powerful, the Shawn Kemp sig saw the early era and perhaps the peak of 4-spot stars getting their own shoes. A hearty midsole made these tough enough for the blacktop, while an All-NBA endorser made ?em prime for the big stage.

A calm demeanor made Tim Duncan the greatest player to ever play the power forward position. While wild aggression was the general ingredient for selling signature shoes of such players, that just wasn?t Tim. Never the less, the Nike Air Max Duncan was progressive and almost scary, sporting a caged upper and Alpha Project design that would still stand out today.

Dennis Rodman was destined for a signature sneaker. While the AS Rodman may have better channeled his rock star persona, it was the Converse AS 91 that represented his blue collar play and thus every-man aesthetic. Aggressive and durable, the shoe was gutsy enough to dive into the crowd but not too loud to overwhelm it.

Coming off unofficial endorsement as an ametuer, Chris Webber?s signature run with Nike was short. Overpriced by MJ standards and thus off balance, the Nike Air Max CW Sensation sparked C-Webb?s departure from the Swoosh but still ranks as a strong sig. Wavy lines, Air Max everywhere, and branding overload make these unmistakably mid-90s, while creative color blocking keeps them unique.

The Round Mound of Rebound was personified on the Nike Air Max CB34. Built strong and low to the ground, the Sir Charles signature sported more cushioning than its predecessors and brought back the familiar midfoot strap. When you see this shoe, you see Chuck.

Let?s not front– the Dada CDubbz were big. An All-Star Game sighting made the shoe forever famous, but its ability to take color outside of chrome gave it the only team shoe transition on the list. Chris Webber rocked more than a few brands, but these still stand as his most memorable.

Though the face of Flightposite and many labels after, the Nike Air Garnett 3 saw KG go from Da Kid to Da Man. Still playful and still repping the OBF, the gradient mesh was hip-hop while the Alpha Project styling was straight hoops. The shoe was successful at the amateur level, getting on-court cosign by then-college stars Mike Miller and Gilbert Arenas.

How good is the Converse Aero Jam? Good enough to make the LJ x Cons pair up enormous on the sneaker scale even though the signature series was short lived. With due respect to the Aero Jet and Back Jam, it?s the Aero Jam that still demands retro release. Awesome advertising and Hornets hues keep these forever classic.

The Reebok Kamikaze II garners the same reaction a Shawn Kemp dunk does. It?s brash, unexpected, and wildly awesome. Smart color blocking and signature steam saw these breakout bigger than the original, adding emphasis to Kemp?s above the rim acrobatics. While most of these models are reliant on original colorways, this design will continue to sell in new takes.

While other models may have done a better job of capturing star power and personality in the present moment, the Nike Air Max CB 94 stands as the most timeless and most playable. Straight jacket styling, superior comfort, and CB stamping packed all the tech and showmanship of the NBA?s reigning MVP. To this day, the retros still get traction on the blacktop and hybrid takes even get love.

Having high power post moves and spring loaded hops is a winning combination at the four spot.
