Cinco de Mayo has quickly been adopted by many as a day of fiesta including sneaker companies. To celebrate the day we assembled our five favorite Cinco de Mayo kicks.

Click here to check our fab five and let us know what are your favorite Cinco de Mayo sneakers!

#5 – Nike Vandal Low

Released in 2008, this Vandal low receives the treatment of green and red on the strap plus a lasered eagle on the back panel. A clean look that can be pulled off year round.

#4 – Air Jordan 1

The Cinco de Mayo Air Jordan 1 came in two colorways, but we had to roll with the white colorway since there is no black on the Mexican flag. A nice detail about these kicks is the green to red fading stitching.

#3 – Nike Dunk SB

The Cinco de Mayo Dunk SBs were one of the first Cinco de Mayo sneakers to release when they dropped back in 2005. Clean color blocking put these at number 3 on the list.

#2 – Nike SB P-Rod

Nike SB hooked up with young talent Paul Rodriguez who is very proud of his Mexican-American heritage. This special Cinco de Mayo colorway was worked up on his first signature shoe the P-Rod and released in 2006.

#1 – Mister Cartoon x Nike Air Force 1

Is there much explanation needed for these? Nike and the legendary Mister Cartoon worked up this Air Force 1 complete with the Mexican flag on the tongue label, patent leather with contrast stitching.

Cinco de Mayo has quickly been adopted by many as a day of fiesta including sneaker companies.
