Though recently geared toward redirecting, Reebok Basketball<\/strong> has one of the most storied rosters in NBA history. Between the brand?s burgeoning retro game and John Wall?s recent departure, we take a look back at the ten best hoopers to endorse Reebok kicks on court.<\/p>\n The Human Highlight Film hoisted the 1990 NBA Dunk Contest trophy in the recently retroed Reebok Pump Twilight Zone<\/a>. His airborne game and All-NBA accolades added credibility to the Vector?s hardwood presence, with ?Nique sporting the brand from ?89 to ?95.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Much like Michael Chang, Dee Brown?s athletic accomplishments are forever tied to the iconic sneaker he sported in historic victory. The Reebok Pump Omni Lite<\/a> received awesome endorsement during the 1991 NBA Dunk Contest, with Dee pumping up his kicks and Reebok taking home the hardware for the second straight season.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Shaquille O?Neal?s larger than life presence and personality made him the most capable center to sell shoes ever. While sales weren’t?enormousness, a strong signature line from Reebok saw favorites like the Shaq Attaq<\/strong>, Shaqnosis<\/strong>, and Preacher Ice<\/strong>. O?Neal eventually left the brand to sell shoes at a more affordable price for low income families and eventually started his own business ventures.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Acrobatic, energetic, and animated, Shawn Kemp had a high flying game worth watching. Following a strong start with Nike, Reebok made the Reignman a signature athlete, lacing him with the likes of the aggressive Kamikaze<\/strong> series all the way to the progressive Shroud<\/strong>. The Kamikaze II is slated to receive the full retro treatment in 2013.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n With most of the brand?s proprietors playing in the paint, Nick Van Exel brought exciting backcourt play to Reebok. The Cincinnati-bred point guard led the Lakers in the original version of the Reebok Blast<\/strong> and later endorsed the Lightning DMX<\/strong> with then-rookie Chauncey Billups.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Allen Iverson took Reebok basketball to new heights. His fearless style of play and brash charisma made him of the best guards and most popular players to ever the play the game. A long signature line kicked off with the?Question<\/strong> and led to many beloved Answer<\/strong> models. The shoes still receive retro love and rank among the most sought after of their era.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Stevie Franchise had streetball handles and trampoline hops. His flashy play and surprising ups put him in the All-Star Game and made him the face of the revamped Blacktop line. Aside from that, Francis also saw signatures in the form of the Wink<\/strong> and the?X-Beam<\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Reebok signed Yao Ming after Nike chose not to renew his one-year rookie contract. This signing was huge for the brand?s international basketball growth, with Ming serving as the first NBA All-Star from China. Much like big men before him, Yao laced up the brand?s trademark technology with the Omni Pump Hexride.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n We hear tall tales about NBA stars lacing up the Yeezys for a basketball game, but years before Jamal Crawford was shakin’ n bakin’ in MSG wearing a Jay-Z signature. The Reebok S. Carter B-Ball III<\/strong> was built for the hardwood, unlike its Gucci ancestor, and saw on court endorsement in New York City. While the shoes were not revolutionary in regard to design or demand, the concept was ahead of its time.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n John Wall joined Reebok after an incredible freshman run at Kentucky. His dashing game and dancing personality was just the excitement the brand needed in the basketball market.
