The last week of school makes for a light basketball schedule as student-athletes concentrate on major test before a slight academic breather. The few games, however, did nothing to slow down the heat rocked on court. Anthony Bennett of UNLV and Winston Shepard of San Diego State University both rocked two pair of shoes in the same game. We’ve seen this done before this season, but both hoopers really brought it with their two sneakers. Not to mention, Jamaal Franklin stepped away from his normal Jordan rotation to rock the Nike Air Foamposite One “Stealth”. Arizona and Florida played against each other, which pitted two College Kicks on Court staples against each other. A surprise this week, was the Monmouth Muhawks. The small school best known for being the alumni of Dallas Cowboy Wide Receiver Miles Austin had a nice on court selection this week.
