Nick Young<\/strong>, the reigning Kicks On Court Champion, has changed surroundings since the last time we spoke with him. After a successful postseason and sneaker run with the Clippers, Young decided to join the up-and-coming Philadelphia 76ers for this season. Though his surroundings have changed, Nick notices something very familiar in regards to coordinating his kicks on court with the color scheme provided. ?I?ve been with a red, white and blue team ever since I entered the league,? said Young. ?The Wizards are red, white and blue and so are the Clippers and 76ers, so I have a ton of shoes to wear with these jerseys. I still have a lot that I haven?t worn on court yet.?<\/p>\n

So, should we expect Swaggy P to run the table again this season? Well, maybe not. ?I may have to take a year off from the shoe game,? Young stated. ?I?m on this one shoe right now. I really like this one shoe that I might wear for a while.? Nick quickly followed that statement up and assured us he will still wear his fair share of different kicks, but there are five shoes he plans to wear consistently. For this installment of our Kicks On Court Diaries<\/em> series<\/a>, Nick Young reveals and elaborates on the five types of shoes he will wear this season without a doubt.<\/p>\n

5. Nike Air Foamposite One ?Stealth?<\/h3>\n Nike Air Foamposite One “Stealth”\n

Nick Young<\/strong>: “Of course I?m going to bring out a few Foams at some point. That?s one of my favorite shoes. I have to bring those out from time to time because that?s the shoe that kind of got me over the top. Everybody started paying attention during the playoffs when I brought the red ones. I?m really digging those new, all-black-everything ones. I?m going to bring those out at least one game.”<\/p>\n

4. Nike Air Flightposite Black<\/h3>\n Nike Air Flightposite Black\n

Nick Young<\/strong>: “I?m going to bring out my Flightposites this year. I have a few colorways of those, but I?m probably going to do the all-black ones this season. I miss playing in those, and I love the zip up feature on those. It?s an underrated ?posite that people forgot about; plus, it?s super comfortable.”<\/p>\n

3. The Entire Nike Air Penny Line<\/h3>\n Nike Air Penny Line\n

Nick Young<\/strong>: “I may do all Pennys and Kobes this season. As for the Pennys, I think I?m going to rock the Air Max Pennys, the Penny IIs, the Penny IIIs, the Penny IVs and the new Vs; plus, some of the Flight stuff he wore before his line started. I have every Penny shoe, and I?m going to bring all of them out this season. That was my secret, but I guess it?s not anymore. The new Penny Vs are really dope, too. I picked up the ?Red Eagle? ones since they match Philly?s colors. I?m really on those.”<\/p>\n Nike Air Penny V “Red Eagle”\n

2. Nike Air Yeezy 2<\/h3>\n Nike Air Yeezy 2\n

Nick Young<\/strong>: “I?m going to bring the Yeezy 2 out at least one game. It?ll be a spur-of-the-moment type thing, so be ready. I have to bust out the Yeezy 2s in one game just to do it.”

1. Nike Zoom Kobe VIII<\/h3>\n

Nick Young<\/strong>: “Besides the shoes I named, I might take a year off from the shoe game. I?m really on this one shoe right now. I like this one shoe that I might wear for a while, and that?s the Nike Zoom Kobe VIII. I got the chance to see them, and they?re really nice. They don?t have that little sock thing anymore. That?s going to be my go-to shoe for the new season. I have to get back to my Kobes because I wasn?t wearing them last season like I usually do. It?s time to get back to my old habits for a little bit. I?m going to be all over NikeiD this year. Let’s see what the other guys are working with this year. I?ll return in the 2013-2014 season to defend my crown.”<\/p>\n
