This week for The Good, The Bad, and The Fugly<\/strong> I’m gonna be really particular. All the kicks I’ve chosen have their ups and downs, but there are things that really just stand out to me on each. Don’t be mad if you think I’m hatin’ on your new favorite kicks, it’s in the details that these shoes either hit or miss.<\/p>\n

The Good<\/strong><\/p>\n

I’ve been skeptical about the Nike Air Yeezy since it surfaced more than a year ago. I really thought that there was no way that these shoes could live up to the hype that has surrounded them. Seeing these shoes in person, straight up killed my doubts. The materials are top notch, so much so it could possibly raise the bar for the entire footwear industry, the way Air Jordans did in the late 80’s. Not to mention the glow in the dark sole, no photoshop here kids, these things really light up the darkness! <\/p>\n

The Bad<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Bad<\/strong> goes not to the RT1 itself, I think the silhouette is fresh, but what’s up with no Air? This ties back to the Air Yeezy changing the sneaker game, it’s cool to rack classic retros with minimal cushioning, i.e. Air Force 1’s, but creating a completely new silhouette that retails at $95 that sits on just a simple cupsole?<\/p>\n

The Fugly<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Air Max 90 is one of my favorite shoes of all time, but I can’t get past this grid pattern on the latest Tier Zero drops. I can get into the Flywire, and the Free sole, but not the grid pattern. It just ruins these kicks to me, am I being to picky? <\/p>\n
