Michael Jordan was a hero to many who grew up in the 1980’s and 90’s, but heroism runs in the blood of the Jordan family. Mike’s older brother James Ronald “Ronnie” Jordan, Jr. enlisted in the US Army at the age of only seventeen years old. He served for 31 years including staying an extra year of duty on tour in Iraq after his scheduled retirement. While serving his country, Ronnie achieved the highest rank of any enlisted signal soldier as Command Sergeant Major of the 35th Signal Brigade.<\/p>\n |
