The first week of March brought us many surprises in the sneaker world. We gathered photos and news about the Nike Hyperdunk ID, new colorways of the Nike Zoom Kobe IV, the Air Jordan VI “Motorsports”, the Kanye West x Louis Vuitton new colorways and many others.

With that said, our Snkrs Day staff had plenty of choices to choose from. Click the photo to read the analysis of our staff picks for week 25. What was your favorite sneaker of the week?

Nike Air Max 90 Current Huarache ???Hufquake??? – Nick Engvall

I usually go with pretty low key kicks, it’s definitely more my style. I’m also not usually a fan of the Current/Free hybrids because it takes away from the classic feel. Maybe it’s the Keak Da Sneak/San Quinn I’ve been listening to this week or somethin’ or the fact that Spring Training has got me missin’ the Giants and the Bay, but I’m really feelin’ these Air Max 90 Huarache Hufquake versions. I’ll definitely be copping these, if/when they drop.

Air Jordan 12 Retro Nubuck Black/University Blue – George Kiel

The Air Jordan XII is obviously one of the better silhouettes of the Jordan signature series, and this colorway is simply fresh. Some of my favorite Jordans contained this colorway such as the Air Jordan XIV and Chris Paul’s Air Jordan 23 PE. It has been awhile since we have seen Air Jordan XII releases, and I feel this is a nice way to bring them back after a long hiatus.

Nike Foamposite Lite ???Dark Neon Royal??? – Matt Halfhill

Without a doubt the Foamposite Lite has been one of the nicest looking basketball shoes of this season, but this colorway just solidifies this in the top 3. Fading blue and an icy sole pays proper homage to the OG Foamposite. Now if only I could get my hands on those Kryptonates….

Nike Air Flight Lite High Stealth/White-Team Red – Peter Sim

If there has been a sleeper retro from Nike in the past 6 months, its the Flight Lite High. It’s such a fresh high-top – similar to the Jordan VII, but more burly and rugged like a boot. The indented panel on the back of the ankle makes these perfect for jeans and rocking the tongue out, and the colorway is poppin with the icy sole. I definitely like this colorway the best because it’s the most modern and versatile. Don’t get me wrong – I love the citron and purple all day, but the stealth is a shoe I can rock everyday without feeling like I’m colorblind.
