Sneakers such as Kanye West&#8217;s 997.5s, a fresh, new colorway of the Jordan Dub Zero and Ray Allen&#8217;s Air Jordan 2009 PE all made major headlines. Even Lil&#8217; Penny strolled through the office to break down the Nike Air 1\/2 Cent.<\/p>\n<p>With that said, our Snkrs Day staff had plenty of choices to choose from. What was your favorite sneaker of the week?<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><!--nextpage--> <strong>Nike Air Max 90 Cool Grey\/White-Hyper Green &#8211; Nick Engvall<\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The Air Max 90 is one of my favorite silhouettes of all time, with the weather in the upper 80&#8217;s this week, I gotta pick this fresh colorway. Cool Grey seems to look pretty good on most kicks but this has all the elements of the AM90 to make it a must. Multi-colored midsole, mesh toe, simple colorway with a bright accent colorway subtly placed. A must have! <span style=\"color: #888888;\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><!--nextpage--><strong>Nike Zoom Flight Club &#8211; George Kiel<\/strong> <strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n<p>For me, this sneaker is like the new and improved Nike Air Zoom &#8220;Glove&#8221;. Gary Payton&#8217;s signature sneaker was one of my favorite basketball sneakers, so its only fitting for me to like the Nike Zoom Flight Club. Besides the actual shoe, I really like how this colorway incorporates the two different shades of blue mixed with the cool grey.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><!--nextpage--> <strong>Nike Air Presto 2009 Red &#8211; Matt Halfhill<\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span id=\":1uk\" dir=\"ltr\">With the decade coming to a close before we know it, one can&#8217;t forget about the Nike Presto being a major sneaker for the past 10. Definitely not the best shoe for support, these had one purpose, to be lightweight and breathable. Nike chose an array of colors that made them irresistable for a casual shoe as well. Nike comes correct with a tonal red colorway with a white midsole and accents of grey. VERY good choice of colors<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><!--nextpage--> <strong>United Arrows x New Balance 997.5 &#8211; Peter Sim<\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">John McCain could be rockin these and I would still jock because the colorway is so sick with the classic grey pig suede and the subtle pink and purple accents.?? I also like the 998 because it kind of looks a little futuristic &#8211; as it would be presented back in the 80s and early 90s.?? The lines are not as traditional as conventional New Balances, and materials like the synthetic side paneling and the cracked leather in the heel adds the right amount of detail to bring this shoe together.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #888888;\"> <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The last week of February brought us some rather interesting news about a variety of sneakers.
