After giving you the structure of how we&#8217;re judging our nominees in Tuesday&#8217;s &#8220;Kicks On Court: The Champion Breakdown&#8221; feature, we&#8217;re now ready to rank our nominees &#8211; well, at least half of them. Today, we unveil spots 12-6 and give you analysis on each. Tomorrow, associate editor <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/geokthree\">George Kiel III<\/a> will reveal spots 5-1 and crown our 2012 <a href=\"\/tag\/kicks-on-court\/\"><em>Kicks On Court<\/em><\/a> champion. Kawhi Leonard made the most of San Antonio&#8217;s subtle color scheme by wearing retros such as the &#8220;Dark Charcoal&#8221; and &#8220;Light Graphite&#8221; Air Jordan 14s. He also gets credit for debuting the &#8220;Wolf Grey&#8221; 5s almost a year after they released to the public. Smith started off the year in China wearing Jordans, such as the &#8220;Playoff&#8221; and White\/Red 13s, but he kept it simple in the States with on-court wears like the &#8220;Team Orange&#8221; KD IVs and &#8220;Concord&#8221; 11s. The &#8220;Toro Bravo&#8221; 5s provided closet appeal for the judging scale and the two Air Jordan 7s, combined with the &#8220;Duke&#8221; Uptempo 2s and an Air Max Penny I, gave him a nice blend. Well, four of his LeBron 9s were sneaker debuts and\/or elements of surprise. Variety hurt him a great deal, but wearing LeBrons that LeBron himself didn&#8217;t wear garners big points from the Snkrs Day staff.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RELATED<\/strong>: Ty Lawson Lists His Top 5 LeBron 9s in Kicks On Court Weekly Recap<\/p>\n<h3>Nike LeBron 9 &#8220;Dunkman&#8221;<\/h3>\n<h3>Nike LeBron 9 &#8220;Mango&#8221;<\/h3>\n<h3>Nike LeBron 9 &#8220;Cool Grey&#8221;<\/h3>\n<h3>Nike LeBron 9 &#8220;Swingman&#8221;<\/h3>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h2>#8 &#8211; Nate Robinson<\/h2>\n<p>Nate Robinson has the potential to be a <em>Kicks On Court<\/em> Champion every year. He loves shoes <em>that<\/em> much. This season, he didn&#8217;t make as much noise as usual, but still had a powerful debut in the form of the &#8220;Doernbecher&#8221; Air Jordan 4. His rotation also featured a little variety and closet appeal with one of his personal favorites, the Nike Air Max2 CB 94. Yet, as stated earlier, we&#8217;ve seen him do better. Remember, he was our first ever <em>Kicks On Court<\/em> Champion in 2009.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RELATED<\/strong>: Electric Sole: 1 on 1 with Nate Robinson<\/p>\n<h3>Air Jordan 13 &#8220;Playoffs&#8221;<\/h3>\n<h3>Nike Air Max2 CB 94 Black<\/h3>\n<h3>Air Jordan 10 &#8220;Old Royal&#8221;<\/h3>\n<h3>Air Jordan 10 &#8220;Stealth&#8221;<\/h3>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<h2>#7 &#8211; DeJuan Blair<\/h2>\n<p>DeJuan Blair and Monta Ellis can be compared because both brought an abundance of Jordan heat out this season. When we caught up with him, Blair stated that the Air Jordan 11 is one of his favorite shoes ever, and we can tell. He brought out the Concords, Cool Greys and Space Jams before switching to the Cement 4s, Charcoal 9s and Black\/Cement 3s during the latter part of the season. He debuted the &#8220;Galaxy&#8221; KD IVs before Durant himself wore them in the All-Star Game, and he was the only player to lace up the &#8220;Year of the Dragon&#8221; KD IVs this season. He also sported some of the best basketball shoes from the 90s in the form of the Nike Air Max Tempo and the Nike Air Max Uptempo 2.
