RELATED: Kicks On Court: The Champion Breakdown

#12 – Kawhi Leonard

It’s only so much you can do with the Spurs’ uniforms, right? Kawhi Leonard made the most of San Antonio’s subtle color scheme by wearing retros such as the “Dark Charcoal” and “Light Graphite” Air Jordan 14s. He also gets credit for debuting the “Wolf Grey” 5s almost a year after they released to the public. Other than that, his sneaker rotation on court was so-so.

#11 – J.R. Smith

J.R. Smith started off the year in China wearing Jordans, such as the “Playoff” and White/Red 13s, but he kept it simple in the States with on-court wears like the “Team Orange” KD IVs and “Concord” 11s. Yet, you cannot deny the fact that his Huarache 2K4s were one of the best 1-of-1s we spotted this season.

#10 – Jordan Crawford

In the midst of the Wizards’ losing this season, Jordan Crawford was a bright spot on the sneaker front. The “Toro Bravo” 5s provided closet appeal for the judging scale and the two Air Jordan 7s, combined with the “Duke” Uptempo 2s and an Air Max Penny I, gave him a nice blend. He didn’t surprise us with too much, and he didn’t debut a single shoe, so 2/5 categories places him here.

#9 – Ty Lawson

Ty tallied points exclusively in LeBrons this season, so you may wonder why he’s even mentioned as a nominee. Well, four of his LeBron 9s were sneaker debuts and/or elements of surprise. Variety hurt him a great deal, but wearing LeBrons that LeBron himself didn’t wear garners big points from the Snkrs Day staff.

#8 – Nate Robinson

Nate Robinson has the potential to be a Kicks On Court Champion every year. He loves shoes that much. This season, he didn’t make as much noise as usual, but still had a powerful debut in the form of the “Doernbecher” Air Jordan 4. His rotation also featured a little variety and closet appeal with one of his personal favorites, the Nike Air Max2 CB 94. Yet, as stated earlier, we’ve seen him do better. Remember, he was our first ever Kicks On Court Champion in 2009.

RELATED: Electric Sole: 1 on 1 with Nate Robinson

Air Jordan 13 “Playoffs”

Nike Air Max2 CB 94 Black

Air Jordan 10 “Old Royal”

Air Jordan 10 “Stealth”

#7 – DeJuan Blair

DeJuan Blair and Monta Ellis can be compared because both brought an abundance of Jordan heat out this season. When we caught up with him, Blair stated that the Air Jordan 11 is one of his favorite shoes ever, and we can tell. He brought out the Concords, Cool Greys and Space Jams before switching to the Cement 4s, Charcoal 9s and Black/Cement 3s during the latter part of the season. There’s not much variety here, but hey, heat is heat.

#6 – Reggie Williams

Reggie secured the sixth spot on our Kicks On Court Champion list by sporting one of the most well-rounded rotations on court this year. He debuted the “Galaxy” KD IVs before Durant himself wore them in the All-Star Game, and he was the only player to lace up the “Year of the Dragon” KD IVs this season. He also sported some of the best basketball shoes from the 90s in the form of the Nike Air Max Tempo and the Nike Air Max Uptempo 2. Reggie scored extremely high in Sneaker Debuts, Variety and Element of Surprise, but fell short in Closet Appeal seeing that his entire Top 5 released this season.
