{"id":21969,"date":"2009-02-18T11:39:51","date_gmt":"2009-02-18T17:39:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nicekicks.com\/?p=21969"},"modified":"2022-09-14T22:36:39","modified_gmt":"2022-09-15T03:36:39","slug":"pro-keds-george-mikan-hi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.snkrsday.com\/pro-keds-george-mikan-hi\/","title":{"rendered":"Pro-Keds George Mikan Hi"},"content":{"rendered":"<table border=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>With new ownership, it seems that PRO-Keds is starting to get the brand back on track by going back to its roots.<\/p>\n<p>To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the brand, PRO-Keds is dropping the George Mikan Hi, paying homage to Geroge Mikan &#8211; one of the first athlete endorsers of basketball footwear, and one of the most dominant NBA big men of all-time, leading the Minneapolis Lakers to five titles in six seasons.<\/p>\n<p>The shoe is a Royal Hi cut and features ultrasuede upper, leather lining, a rubber toecap, a customized PU footbed, and special accents highlighting Mikan&#8217;s Clark Kent-styled glasses.??
