Delonte West<\/strong> represents the DMV area with everything he has; it’s tatted on him, and in our conversation with him, Delonte reiterated where he’s from on numerous occasions. West’s sneaker rotation is a direct indicator of his birthplace as well. Foamposites and New Balances, two sneakers closely associated with the DMV area, make up his five-sneaker rotation, along with a recently released Jordan that West thinks is one of the best ever created. Nike Air Foamposite One “Electrolime”<\/h3>\n

Delonte West<\/strong>: “I’m from the DMV area, so I have the Foamposites in almost every color. I usually just change those up every now and then in my rotation. I recently wore the “Electrolime” Foams. That’s one of my favorite releases of the year so far.”<\/p>\n

New Balance 2000<\/h3>\n

Delonte West<\/strong>: I’m living in Dallas right now, so a lot of my shoes are at home. But I do wear my New Balance 2000s here. That’s another DMV thing we do back at home. I must keep those in my rotation at all times.”<\/p>\n

Nike Air Foamposite One “Galaxy”<\/h3>\n

Delonte West<\/strong>: “I wear my “Galaxy” Foams every now and then. Shoe collectors go crazy over those, but I don’t get down with all of the hype. I wear what I buy, and I buy what I like. When I wore those on court earlier this year, it was a statement for the DMV. I just rock Foams a lot because of where I’m from.”<\/p>\n

Air Jordan 12 “Playoffs”<\/h3>\n

Delonte West<\/strong>: I’m wearing the “Playoff” Air Jordan 12s right now, too. That is one of my most recent pickups. In my opinion, it’s one of the best Jordans ever created.”<\/p>\n
