Last Tuesday, a select group of media members were invited out to Los Angeles for the launch of the adidas adiZero Crazy Light 2<\/strong>. Specifically, the mix of invitees boarded a bus to the Los Angeles Clippers practice facility to see and test out the latest and lightest from the Three Stripes.<\/p>\n Sportscaster extraordinaire Gus Johnson<\/strong> emceed the event, setting the stage for adidas Global Basketball Vice President Lawrence Norman<\/strong> and adidas Basketball Category Designer Robbie Fuller<\/strong>. The tandem broke down the design process of the shoe by showing early illustrations and discussed the process of making it lighter (9.5 oz compared to 9.8 oz) and stronger. The pair was passionate about both, but the excitement went to another level when they delved into the model?s hardwood debut.<\/p>\n
