Did you know Killer Mike<\/strong> was an avid fan of sneakers? Well, probably not. Neither did we, but it didn’t take long for us to detect his affinity for kicks in our conversation with him recently. The Atlanta native undoubtedly has one of the most varied sneaker rotations we’ve seen in our My 5<\/em><\/a> series, mixing a couple of classic Nike SBs with timeless staple shoes of other brands. Check out Mike’s eclectic rotation below.<\/p>\n

Nike SB Dunk Low Pro “Tiffany”<\/h3>\n

Killer Mike<\/strong>: “I kept all my most precious shoes at my grandma’s house. I’m one of those dudes that never moved out of my childhood home. My grandma raised me, and even though I got married, I never changed my address. So, whenever stuff got sent to me or I ordered stuff, I always had it shipped to my grandma’s house. I literally just had to get a P.O. Box, which was a bummer. My grandma recently died, so I had to go over to her house and clean my stuff out. I’m back to wearing my “Tiffany” Dunks a lot. I love those shoes. I bought those out in LA and had them shipped to her house a while back.”<\/p>\n

Nike SB Dunk Hi Pro “De La Soul”<\/h3>\n

Killer Mike<\/strong>: “I’ve been wearing my “De La Soul” Dunks a lot too. That’s another shoe I had to go get from my grandma’s house. I bought those out in Atlanta, but I just kept them at her house for a while. I’m back to wearing those now too.”<\/p>\n

Nike Air Force 1 White\/White<\/h3>\n

Killer Mike<\/strong>: “I always keep a pair of white Air Force 1s on, too. Wherever I go, I have a pair of white on whites on me. If you have on a pair of Levis, some white on whites and a t-shirt, you’re good in the hood. If I have a business meeting to go to, I’ll just throw on a collar shirt with white on whites, and it’s acceptable.”<\/p>\n

Converse Chuck Taylor Hi Black\/White<\/h3>\n

Killer Mike<\/strong>: “The Chuck Taylor is my most dependable shoe. I don’t mind people stepping on them. Everybody should always keep a pair of black Chucks. Chucks can be fresh and crispy when you walk out the door, but end up with oil and grease on them when you get back. But people like them and respect them more when they’re dirty.”<\/p>\n

Air Jordan 4 “Cement”<\/h3>\n

Killer Mike<\/strong>: “I always try to keep a pair of Jordans on me just in case I see Jordan. I need him to sign a pair. I’m rocking the “Cement” Jordan 4s right now. I didn’t get those when I was a kid because my grandma couldn’t get them for me. My cousin had them though.
