Wichita, Kansas artist XV is The Kid With the Green Backpack<\/em>, as his upcoming album denotes. We know the color of his backpack, but what colors is he rocking in his current sneaker rotation. After performing at the South by Snkrs Day Showcase, we caught up with XV to find out which five sneakers make up his sneaker rotation. Check out the latest edition of our My 5<\/em> column, which sees XV’s varied rotation of Nike SBs, Air Jordans and Supras.<\/p>\n

Air Jordan 5 “Green Bean”<\/h3>\n

XV<\/strong>: “These are my sh*ts because I’m always wearing a green backpack. I rock with these a lot.”<\/p>\n

Nike SB Dunk Low “Dia de los Muertos”<\/h3>\n

XV<\/strong>: “The Nike SB Dunk Low “Day of the Dead” is my favorite Nike SB ever. I spent like $500 on those when I was 17. That was a big deal for me, and I still wear them a lot.”<\/p>\n

Air Jordan 1 Black\/Varsity Red via 60+ DMP Pack<\/h3>\n

XV<\/strong>: “I have to go with the retro Air Jordan 1s in black and red too. I’m a big Jordan fan, and those are so original. He scored 63 in these. That’s all that matters.”<\/p>\n

Just Blaze x Supra Skytop II<\/h3>\n

XV<\/strong>: “I love Supra Skytop IIs, but I really like the pair they did for my homie Just Blaze. I’m just a huge fan of high-top sneakers period.”<\/p>\n

Air Jordan 5 “Wolf Grey”<\/h3>\n

XV<\/strong>: “The “Wolf Grey” 5 is my favorite shoe right now. I’m just a big fan of retros 5s, and I wear these a lot. Why? Because the XVs (Air Jordan XV) are so ugly and so bad.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
