While we now have two more months to plot our pickup plans, this also means more waiting. But has the wait really been that long? For context, let?s look back at the original Nike Air Yeezy.<\/p>\n<p>On February 10th, 2008, Kanye debuted the then-unknown and unnamed model onstage at the Grammy Awards. Shortly after the unveiling, Kanye commented on the ?mystery Nikes? and later confirmed them as the Air Yeezy. He spent the spring and summer of 2008 sporting samples during his Glow in the Dark Tour and festival run. The ?Zen Grey? makeup would later lead off the launch, releasing on April 4th, 2009.<\/p>\n<p>For those keeping score at home, that was a span of <strong>419 days<\/strong>, breaking down to one year, one month and 25 days. Let&#8217;s move forward to the sequel.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<p>Kanye?s second installment of the Yeezy series hit the web for the first time on-foot in Kobe Bryant?s <em>The Black Mamba<\/em> viral video. Premiering on February 16th, 2011 but likely shot months before, this clip saw West debuting the new model in a Black\/White colorway, likely pointing to a wear-test sample.<\/p>\n<p>This same makeup would later be worn at Coachella, only to be followed by a &#8220;Wolf Grey&#8221; sighting at the VMAs and Black\/Pink supremacy on the Watch The Throne Tour.<\/p>\n<p>While an exact release date is yet to be revealed, the shoe is slated to release in June of 2012, which means?<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<p>If the ?Wolf Grey? Yeezy 2 releases on June 1st, 2012 then <strong>471 days<\/strong> would have passed between the debut and release date.<\/p>\n<p>If they release on June 30th, 2012 then <strong>500 days<\/strong> would have passed.<\/p>\n<p>This puts the wait difference somewhere between <strong>81 and 52 days<\/strong> depending on actual release date.
