The Nike Basketball ?Galaxy? collection may have been out shadowed by their retro counterparts, but their combination of flash, function, and chance to make hardwood history make these in a way the most valuable. Each model&#8217;s critical and commercial success is pushing the other brands and players to bring out their best.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<p><strong>THE BAD- OUTRAGEOUS RE-SALE PRICES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Galaxy&#8221; Foamposite Bid Reaches $70,000 on eBay<\/p>\n<p>Has the after market become the marketplace? Sometimes it feels that way. While it?s everyone?s right to rock, stock, or sell their kicks, it can be frustrating when prices just stop making sense. Remember, being an educated consumer always gives you the best chance of getting a pair of shoes and getting them at the best price.<\/p>\n<p><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<p><strong>THE UGLY- WHEN SNEAKER RELEASES GET OUT OF CONTROL<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Who?s to blame? The blogs? The brands? The shops? The shoppers? The answer is supply and demand. In a culture that?s growing in popularity by the minute we all share the excitement of a great shoe on the horizon just as much as the bummer of not getting a pair we wanted. Supply and demand keeps us interested while it often keeps certain kicks off our feet. Just as the ?Pigeon? Dunks, ?McFly? Hyperdunks, ?Nerf? KDs, and ?Concord? 11s were all the shoe of the moment, there will continue to be more. As hype\/popularity has increased, so has the amount of releases.
