House of Hoops is coming with yet another set of exclusives that pay tribute to local history. The New York Giants left the city along with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1957 only a few years after winning the World Series in 1954. With the birth place of baseball (though heavily disputed) having only 1 team, the Mets were formed in 1962. In fact the blue\/orange colors of the Mets came from the blue of the Brooklyn Dodgers and orange of the New York Giants.
