Since signing to the Swoosh in 2003, Kobe Bryant has been a go-to guy on foot and on screen for Nike. The Black Mamba has graced TV sets and laptop monitors as a gym warrior, insurance salesman, puppet, Laker Legend, and most recently as a motivational speaker. Coming off the success of the Kobe System campaign, we take a look back at his most significant ad spots for Nike and the sneakers he pushed.

[youtube

Shoe: Nike Zoom Kobe 1 Before LeBron became the most scrutinized player in hoops, all eyes were on Kobe. His introductory ad with Nike played on that theme. Although the spot features KB8 training in the Huarache 2k5, the air date coincided with the Zoom Kobe I.

[youtube

Shoe: Nike Zoom Kobe II While not met by positive, rave reviews, the Zoom Kobe II was ahead of its time. Two model types, iD availability, and this viral campaign support such a claim.

[youtube

Shoe: Nike Zoom Kobe III Is Kobe as famous as Mozart? Probably so. The viral campaign for the Zoom Kobe III saw Jelly Bean Jr. channeling his artistic side all while staying silly.

[youtube

Shoe: Nike Hyperdunk Did he really? Following conventional viral attempts, Nike hit it out of the park with the infamous ‘car jump’ video. Millions of views and countless parodies drove Hyperdunk sales and shares. It also reintroduced lost consumers to the magic of Nike.

[youtube

Shoe: Nike Hyperdunk All Aston Martin jump questions were answered in the hilarious ?Snake Pool? clip. Kobe kept the Hyperdunk hype going by showing his sense of humor and vertical with help from the Jackass cast.

[youtube

Shoe: Nike Zoom Kobe IV If you thought jumping over a speeding Aston Martin was risky, imagine playing basketball in low tops. KB24 predated the Old Spice guy and switched stigmas by selling Kobe IV competitors ‘Ankle Insurance’ on a horse.

[youtube

Shoe: Nike Zoom Kobe V After previously sharing the stage with LeBron during the 2009 postseason, MVPuppet Kobe got the spotlight by dropping knowledge for Foot Locker on the Zoom Kobe V. It is still his second best rap moment.

[youtube

Shoe: Nike Zoom Kobe V On the way to Kobe?s fifth championship, Nike dug into the Beatles catalog, and the bank, as 3 Stacks paid homage to the Laker Legend in this title tribute. [youtube

Shoe: Nike Zoom Kobe VI Celeb cameos and Robert Rodriguez’s direction made the ?Black Mamba? a buzz on the net. A first look at the Yeezy 2 caused insanity amongst the sneaker culture.

[youtube

Shoe: Nike Zoom Kobe VII You?re welcome.

[618
93,1207962,1207961

2":"type-post

“Love Me or Hate Me”
