Now that we?ve got your attention with the ?Big Bang? Kobes, we take a look at three sneaker stories from the week that are sure to cause mixed reactions. NBA icons are brought up while we question if Nike should make more Yeezys. Enough build up, check out the picks and rational for yourself and give us your feedback in the comment section.

THE GOOD- THE JORDAN CP3.V

Jordan CP3.V Launch Event Recap

The era that most of us are infatuated with saw strong signatures from an array of athletes. Fans calling for a return to the ?good ole days? should be happy about the CP3.V. Though the ?Dr. Jekyll? and ?Mr. Hyde? colorways might make old heads nauseas, they do put the Chris Paul line in direct competition with Kobe, LeBron, and KD, proving a Jumpman sneaker can still push performance on court and break necks without elephant print.

THE BAD- KANYE’S NIKE LIMITATIONS

Kanye Discusses His Terms With Nike

Outside of patent leather laden Jordans and Marty McFly endorsed moon boots, no sneaker is seeing the buzz of the Yeezy 2. None. Likely holding the title as the only star to design their own signature, shouldn?t Kanye get a little more clout at Nike?

THE UGLY- NIKE LEBRON 9?

Nike LeBron 9 “Mango”

A big tongue makes the LeBron 9 too loud for many, causing denim doubt and shushing any talk of being better than the 8s. Does that make them ugly? Does that make them innovative? The same questions could?ve been raised fifteen years ago about Foamposites, and now they?re the hottest franchise on the site, clearly ahead of their time. While some people aren?t feeling the progressive look, we still give Nike?s design team props for taking a risk and pushing the boundaries.

[2
1225672

2":"type-post
