The Snkrs Day crew unveils their favorite kicks of the week today. Utilizing a range silhouettes, this weeks selection includes such basketball performance models as the Nike Zoom Kobe VII, as well as custom kicks such as the Air Jordan 6 “True Blue”. Click through this week selection and let us know if you agree or disagree.

Matt Halfhill

We have seen virtually every possible material applied to the upper of the Blazer over the past couple of years. ?Leather, nubuck, suede, elephant print, carbon fibre looking patent, fauxposite, wool, and a billion different textures of textiles, but to me, none have been as clean as this. ?The Blazer, like many classic sneakers, lend themselves to being the perfect canvas for virtually ANYTHING to be done to the shoe, but to me, sometimes it’s the simplest applications that have the strongest executions.

Nylon Nike Blazer

George Kiel

The “Volt” Kobe VII is the best color scheme I have seen on Kobe’s seventh signature model so far. Volt is usually a very eye-popping, vibrant scheme, but it is applied subtlety on the Kobe VII. I’m really liking this silhouette more and more with each passing photo. Nike needs to hurry up and release specs regarding this sneaker.

Nike Zoom Kobe VII “Volt”

Ian Stonebrook

These are better than the ?True Blue? 3s. There, I said it. In a year where Jordan Brand owned the market, releasing coveted OG colorways and even some good retro+ makeups, I?d still take these over any of them. Well done Eric.

Air Jordan 6 “True Blue”

Brett Pickert

Legend has it that Dennis Quaid use the remains of Sean Connery (Dragonheart reference for those who don’t know), to make this New Balance ML574 “Year of the Dragon.” I really dig the dragon accents, gold and red colorway, and the added bonus of it being on a comfortable shoe. I’m looking forward to seeing what other brands (Sisqo collaboration?) are doing for the “Year of the Dragon.”

New Balance M574 “Year of the Dragon”

Brittany Shelton

Black, Lead or Cardinal, each adidas Forum Hi from Frank the Butcher’s Crest Collection is a home run. As Ian pointed out in the original post, the Forum Hi is a real rarity when it comes to adidas basketball models, so make sure you act fast to pick up a pair from, among other retailers, Boylston Trading Co. (which is the only place where you will be able to find the Black pair). Can’t go wrong with these from Frank and the Three Stripes.ally).

Adidas Originals Forum Crest Collection

Albert Lin

I’ve never really been a huge fan of the Nike Air Max 95 but with this new colorway spotted earlier this week, I am ready to copy my first pair. I love the color scheme as well as the overall look of the pair.

Nike Air Max 95 Black/Volt

This week’s staff picks include the Nike Air Max 95, Zoom Kobe VII as well as a variety of other models.

[742
1225545

2":"type-post
