Take a trip to Youtube and check out your favorite rap videos from 98-04. You?ll see a lot of jewelry, you?ll see a lot of jerseys, but mostly you?ll see a lot of Timbs. Yup, basketball kicks are back and bigger than ever, but it wasn?t always that way. Over the years, many brands have big-upped their boot brethren with ?Wheat? based sneakers. The concept?s caught on with this weekend seeing big drops like the Supreme Nike SB 94 and the ?Haystack Pack?. In this time of harvest we countdown the 15 best shoes to sport the colorway.<\/p>\n

15. Nike Total Air Foamposite Max Wheat\/Brown<\/h2>\n

When these released a few years back nobody was really feeling the wheat\/Foamposite combo. Then again most weren?t feeling Foams either. Ahead of their time for sure.<\/p>\n

Continuing the Foamposite them, the recently released Supreme Nike SB 94 cracks the list. The contrasting materials work while the copper compliments.<\/p>\n

Though not dubbed wheat, the ?Ginger? XVIs saw Jordan Brand taking direct inspiration from Timberland boots. These were also the first sneakers MJ laced up with the Wizards.<\/p>\n

12. Reebok Reverse Jam “Wheat”<\/h2>\n

Not prettiest shoe on the list, but the wheat Reverse Jams do have a case. The wheat colorway transformed the whole look, making them appear nothing like a basketball shoe. A tough feat.<\/p>\n

The ?Waterproofs? and various Co.JPs could all make their way on this list, but today we give Cool Bob Love the call. Mr. Make It Happen feasted on this AF1, truly pairing the best of both worlds.<\/p>\n

Waves of wheat come in spurts. While we got a lot of the colorway in the early\/mid 2000s and a few as of late, this NEXUSVII collab popped up at a less trendy time. It worked too, standing out among fellow features.<\/p>\n

Both OG Air Jordan 13 Lows featured never before seen colorways on the signature the line. The ?Chutney? makeup was an oddball then but begging for a comeback now.<\/p>\n

When VacTech was first shown all signs pointed to another faux-posite look similar to the Anodized craze. Then the ?Haystacks? hit. Seamless suede never looked so good.<\/p>\n

Right after the Skytop was getting the ‘off that’ tagging, “Timmy” entered the room. A strong second wind for the silo and a look that holds up.<\/p>\n

Unlike ahead of their time makeups on this list, these look pretty dated. But boy were they cool when they dropped. The All Day All Night symbolized the streetball movement best in this colorway.<\/p>\n
