Sure, we gave the 11 its props today, but we didn?t forget about Veteran?s Day. For this special installment of My 5<\/a>, we feature NK?s own and US Navy vet LaMarcus Martin. Over his ten years in the Naval services, his work ranged from IT specialization to training military police with firearms. These days he?s a staple of the Snkrs Day shop specializing in logistics and customer satisfaction and also a favorite around the NK office thanks to his sense of humor and knack for compliments. Mature enough to respect the classics but not afraid to dare to be different, LaMarcus?s current rotation is varied with a sense of season. Find out what our vet is rocking in autumn.<\/p>\n

Nike Air Foamposite One "Dark Neon Royal"<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

LaMarcus:<\/strong> I had the Foamposites when they first dropped in ?97 and have been a big fan ever since. It?s just a beautiful shoe to look at. Usually my favorite color is red but the neon blue is amazing. I definitely keep that shoe in my rotation all seasons, no matter if it’s cold, raining, sleet, snow…I try to have a couple pairs on deck. With the Foamposites I just like to have fun with it or dress it down. Definitely scooping up the ?Metallic Reds?.<\/p>\n

Timberland 6" Boot Wheat<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

LaMarcus:<\/strong> I?ve been wearing Timb?s for about seven years now. I got introduced to the Timberland boot by one of my best friends from New York. He introduced me to the whole New York swag and ever since I?ve been a big fan. They?re durable, ideal for the cold climates, and pretty easy to maintain.<\/p>\n

Vans Era 59 CA Caf? Wool<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

LaMarcus:<\/strong> I?ve always been a fan of Vans but I really started paying attention to them when I started working at Snkrs Day. We have such a wide variety so I get to see all the styles first hand. Right now, the Era 59 is my favorite because they?re low cut and nice with a straight leg or skinny jean. They?re so comfortable; almost like a flip-flop, and they?re a classic looking shoe whether they?re dirty or clean. The Caf? colorway is wool and looks fresh. I wear Vans probably three to four times a week.<\/p>\n

Nike ACG Air Max Goadome Black\/Black<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

LaMarcus:<\/strong> I lived in the DMV area where Nike boots are really big. I got introduced to them in Maryland and just like the Timb?s they?re very durable, ideal for cold climate, and pretty much go with everything. Cold climate in Texas is extremely different than the East Coast, so I get excited to wear them. Most of my sneakers I can only wear with so many colors, but the Nike boots I can dress up and wear with things that I don?t typically get to wear during the year.<\/p>\n

Air Jordan 11 "Cool Grey"<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

LaMarcus:<\/strong> The 11s in general are my holy grail and my favorite Jordans. The ?Cool Grey? keeps it in tune with the season and the fall theme. I?ll definitely be getting the ?Concords?. If I had to have two shoes for the rest of my life it?d be the royal Foams and the ?Concords?.<\/p>\n
