There will be tons of Nike LeBron 9 colorways that will surface over the next 12 months; however, today, we give you an extremely, in-depth look at the first colorway of King James’ ninth signature shoe to hit Stateside retailers, the “Cannon” Nike LeBron 9. This particular shoe, which released at select Miami retailers this past weekend, features a military green (although its predominant color is officially labeled “Cannon”) theme which is inspired by the Miami Heat’s 2010-11 preseason camp at the military base in Fort Walton Beach, Fla. It is easily one of the most head-turning color schemes we have seen on any LeBron sneaker, let alone any basketball shoe. The bluish green “Cannon” scheme is offset by multiple slate blue panels comprised of Nike’s Fuse and Flywire technologies. A team orange outsole and 180 degree heel unit further distinguishes the color scheme from any other, along with the volt colored Nike/LeBron branding. Other features include a speckled, cannon/slate blue midsole and team orange, speckled laces (alternate cannon colored laces as well). Is this the best Nike LeBron 9 we have seen to date?

Although the Nike LeBron 9 “Cannon” released exclusively in Miami this past weekend, the rest of the US will have its chance at this shoe on November 11, 2011, as it will re-release at select retailers nationwide.

Nike LeBron 9
