Can there ever be enough sneakers for a cause? Simply put: No. There are few greater things than seeing a footwear brand lend its help. Fresh off the September sensation, Michael J. Fox-benefiting Nike MAG auctions, we find ourselves on the first day of October, National Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Every major label has helped on the football field with pink gear, but in the sneaker community, few projects have been as noticeable as Nike?s work with the Kay Yow Cancer Foundation. Yow was one of college basketball?s most successful coaches ever when she left her position at South Carolina in 2009, diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time (She coached Team USA to gold in 1988 following her first diagnosis). More importantly, she had an amazing spirit and spent most of her life helping those who also fought cancer.

Just before her passing, Nike unveiled the ?Think Pink? series of basketball gear and became very active in promoting finding a cure. Since then, we?ve seen a litany of support from the Swoosh for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund in the form of charity-benefiting shoe sales. As sneakerheads, we?ve supported the pink-wearing wonders since their inception, and even find ourselves yearning for more kicks to cop to help end cancer. With hoops season on the horizon and many of us waiting for yet another ?Think Pink? sneaker, we?ve formed this list of sneaks we?d love to see get the charitable treatment.

Yes, we want these sneaks, but let?s not forget the real reason for the colorway. Click here to make a donation to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.

Scoop sneaks. Think Pink. Find a cure.

We?ve seen the Hyperdunk line, as well as the Hyperize, get the ?Kay Yow? treatment numerous times, but the original Zoom Hyperfuse never received it. With the new generation well into its lifespan, it?d be great to see this offered this one to Hyperfuse hoopers.

Foamposite releases have been all over the place the last few years, ranging from the Electric Green Pro to the OG Dark Neon Royal One. One look we haven?t seen though, is pink. The still-futuristic lines of this 90s Nike make any color Foam look great, and as with the other hypothetical heat on this list, the advantage of its charitable nature is undeniable.

The Lunar HyperGamer has had hoopers speculating about its on-court abilities since we first got a peek of it. Whether you?re pro-Lunar or not though, you can?t deny that the camouflage-covered colorways look awesome in every way. Now, we?ve never seen an army in pink camo, but there is a theme to this feature, readers.

The LeBron Line, like Kobe?s, has long been dressed in pink. Could the 9 be next? It?s too early to tell, but we?re hoping the lack of it as a NIKEiD option is a sign of things to come. Those large ?wings? above the quarter panel look built to bear the ribbon.

The ?Think Pink? treatment has only been applied to hoops shoes thus far, but it?d be great to get an off-court option. The classic color blocking of the Air Max 1 makes the pink pop and well, it?s an Air Max 1! Currently, you can create something similar to this on NIKEiD, but don?t forget to make a donation to the KYCF, as well.

Like the Air Max 1, this Dunk would be sweet for kicking it off the court. This multi-tone splatter effect would really liven up the classic silhouette, too. Hey, the Dunk did used to be the premier performance shoe.

It?s kind of bizarre we haven?t gotten a ?Think Pink? AF1 yet, considering all of the charity benefiting Forces that have dropped in its almost 30-year history. With any luck we?ll get one soon, but for now, this take on ?patent toe? collection is all we have to lust after.

The Air Jordan 2012 should be right around the corner, but that doesn?t mean we don?t want to see the 2011 still. And because it looks like we?ll have no NBA hoops through October, don?t count on seeing any Jordan Brand athletes rocking this one.

2009 gave us so many great 12s, we were almost spoiled by the generosity. With 2012 slated to bring us back both classic and new colorways, it?s only right that we hope for a charitable pair. Few shoes color block as well as the Air Jordan 12 too, making the Pink/White look easy to make work.

Last year, the ?Doernbechers? kicked off a run of Air Jordan 3s that the Black/Cements will soon bring to a close. We say Jordan Brand should bookend it all with another pair for a cause. And though girls and young?ins have had pink grace their 3s already, we know grown men would definitely rock some that were bold, bright and most importantly, beneficial to the cause.

[polldaddy poll=5549404]

Can there ever be enough sneakers for a cause?
