There was a number of good choices this week, with Vans<\/a> and Adidas<\/a> dropping more kicks than Weezy does mix tapes. As always there are plenty of kicks to make you wonder, how does that designer have a job?<\/p>\n

Usually since we bring a lot of stuff to the web first, our picks for the Good, Bad, and Fugly are future releases. One of the kicks, made an appearance as I was out and about, which sealed it’s fate on this week’s The Good, The Bad, The Fugly<\/strong> for the week in sneakers ending Friday January 9th. The Good<\/strong><\/p>\n

The easy choice for this week is The Good<\/strong>. With all the hybrid sneakers we’ve seen in the last year or two, I think Nike may have finally gotten it right with the Air Penny Half Cent<\/a>, it has just enough touches of all the Penny kicks without trying to infuse something that doesn’t fit, like say an Air Force 1 sole. From the comments, these shoes seem to be on most everyone’s cop list for 2009.<\/p>\n

The Bad<\/strong><\/p>\n

I was told today that “imitation is the greatest form of flattery,” to which I replied, “then where’s my money?”<\/p>\n

Supra probably feel’s the same after seeing these Levi’s bite their style so hard. The Levi’s Supra knockoff’s are easily The Bad<\/strong> this week. What really solidified it though, was when I was out and about earlier in the week and saw someone rockin’ a pair. Now, I skate, and I suck, but if you skate, which this person obviously did, what would make you think Levi’s knows a thing about skateboarding shoes?<\/p>\n

The Fugly<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Nike Blazer Liberty Pack comes in this week in The Fugly<\/strong> spot. It’s not a good look when your kicks match the wallpaper at your Grandmama’s house. Need I say more?<\/p>\n
