Though Reebok was the first company to sign a hip hop artist to create a signature shoe, Sketchers sub-brand 310 Motoring has been actively involved with expanding their line to include signature models by hip hop artists. With the success of The Game’s album Documentary 310 signed him to create a shoe called “The Hurricane”. Though not a hit with sneaker connoisseur, the shoes still have been a decent seller.<\/p>\n
310 Motoring has also signed NaS who has been a long time fan of Nike Air Force Ones and was one of the legendary hip hop artists who performed at the Air Force 1 25th Anniversary party. His new signature shoe definitely has some design elements that are very similar to the Nike Air Force 1, but of all shoes that look like Air Force Ones, these are honestly one of the better done shoes. The shoe, the Disciple II, is available now at 310 retailers for $83.95.
