Collaborations with artists are nothing new for sneaker companies. Whether the artists themselves are sneaker die hards or not, sneakerheads have a hard time arguing that many of these collaborations have been unsuccessful.<\/p>\n DC Shoes has had a very successful lineup of artists who have collaborated with them including custom king Methanphibian, KAWS, and SSUR. The man who brought us the “Caviar Cartel”, SSUR, hooks up with DC yet again for another round of excellence.<\/p>\n For these shoes, SSUR took inspiration from his Russian heritage and added touches of NYC. The blue floral pattern and nude woman takes inspiration from Russian porcelain. Added to the Russian touches are depictions of the Coney Island Ferris wheel as well as other City landmarks. These will be releasing this holiday season along with matching fitteds, sweater, and jeans.
