Once again, young designers were called upon and once again they delivered. The Future Sole 2011 Design Concept saw a host of contestants cook up concepts for a Jordan Brand Melo signature, Jordan Brand Melo T-shirt, Converse J.J. Barea signature, and a Nike basketball shoe made for a power forward. Two Melo signature concepts, created by Nick Daiber of Highland, IL and Jacob Rochester of Bloomfield, CT, respectively were chosen as finalists; however, Carmelo himself chose Nick Daiber’s (right) blue\/orange creation.
