Who?s really wavy? Casey Veggies, that?s who. The 18-year-old MC has caught the attention of Jay-Z, torn up tracks with Tyler the Creator, and boasts Kevin Durant as a fan. Despite the flattering co-signs the un-signed rapper is as independent as they come. Raised in Inglewood but immersed in the Fairfax scene, Casey grew up hooping, skating, and rapping. You couldn?t compose a better Venn diagram for a sneakerhead and with such a pedigree comes diverse taste. Read on to see what the Peas & Carrots rapper is rocking.

Air Jordan 3 "True Blue"

Casey Veggies: “I picked those up when they dropped. I love performing in those. I haven?t hooped in the True Blues but I wear them out. I?ve always loved the retro Jordans, I had the retro 12s when I was like 8 years old.”

Nike SB Dunk Mid "Wheat"

Casey Veggies: “I picked those up a long time ago at UNDFTD back in 2007. I kept them pretty clean but I used to skateboard in them so I drew my name on them with a sharpie marker. I?ve chilled back from skating, but if I do I?ll throw on some SBs.”

Nike Air Max 1 "ACG"

Casey Veggies: “I love the Air Max 1 design, the whole feel of the shoe. Right now I?m rocking the all blue suede and canvas ones with the white bottoms. I just got them at UNDFTD and wear them with blue denim jeans.”

Vans Sk8-Hi Black/White

Casey Veggies: “The Sk8 His! I love them. I have a few different colors, but mainly the black and white originals. Casually or skate, these are like an all-purpose shoe.”

Supreme x Timberland Field Boot

Casey Veggies: “The purple ones with the Cheetah print. I love Supreme. Us growing up on Fairfax, we always had Supreme and Diamond. It?s more than just a brand to us it?s a lifestyle. These are a good look, the style and the fit coextends to LA. It?s a real New York thing but there?s a certain way that LA cats can rock it that makes it our own little thing.”

Thanks to Anwar Carrots and Joshton Peas. Look for the retail release of Sleeping in Class on September 20th.
